Store Preview tabs explained
What the Screenshots, Custom Product Pages, In-App Events, In-App Purchases, Category Analysis and App Performance tabs show.
Updated September 30, 2026
Beyond Metadata, Store Preview has six tabs covering your visuals, events, monetization and rankings. Most tabs compare your app with the competitors selected in the icon row under the app header. For the header and Metadata tab, see Store Preview overview.
Screenshots
Switch between three views:
- Screenshots – your app's and competitors' screenshots, grouped by the date the listing was updated (newest first). Each app shows Current Screenshots, Visual Score (the ideal number of screenshots is 6), Ratings Gained since the last visual update and Rating Growth in the last week.
- Worldwide – screenshots per country, so you can compare localized visuals.
- A/B Tests – creative tests detected for each app, with their dates, status (Currently Testing or Ended), the languages they run in (Testing In) and the screenshots being tested. Access depends on your plan.
On the App Store, choose Phone or Tablet. Worldwide and A/B Tests are currently App Store only.
Custom Product Pages (App Store only)
Shows the alternate store listings (custom product pages) of your app and competitors. For each app you get Overall Stats (Pages, Screenshots, Keywords, First seen, Last seen), then each page with its screenshots, when it was first seen and the keywords it was found in. Use Search keywords to filter them. Choose Phone or Tablet to preview.
In-App Events
Lists events published by your app and selected competitors, grouped into Current Events, Future Events and Past Events. Each event shows its artwork, title, description, dates and status (Active or Ended). Turn on Translate to translate event text.
If neither you nor your competitors run events, the tab explains why events matter. Events are an easy way to boost visibility and give you fresh ranking signals.
In-App Purchases (App Store only)
Shows estimated Revenue & Installs for your app and competitors over a date range you choose:
- Performance Map – a world map of Installs, Revenue or LTV per country. Select several apps to see which one leads in each country, and click a country for details. Totals are shown under Worldwide Data.
- Performance Charts – daily revenue, installs or LTV as a bar, pie or line chart for the selected country.
- Revenue Table – revenue and installs at the start and end of the period, plus LTV, per app.
- Subscription and One Time Payments – each app's in-app purchases with title and price.
Installs and revenue estimates are a work in progress and may change as we improve them.
Category Analysis
Shows your app's category rank against competitors in every country. Pick a date range (how far back you can go depends on your plan), then set the sentence at the top: Comparing with the [category] and the [category] category in the [collection] collection. By default it uses your app's primary and secondary categories.
- App Presence Map – which app ranks highest in each country.
- Ranking Per Country – Ranking and Growth per country. A positive growth means the app moved up during the period.
- Per Country Analysis – rank over time in the country selected in the app header.
- Primary Category and Secondary Category charts.
If your app has no secondary category, you'll see a reminder to add one.
App Performance
Tracks your app's quality and demand over a date range (last 30 days by default):
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| App Authority | Latest score and trend vs the start of the period. |
| Ratings | Latest average rating and trend. |
| Estimated Installs | Total for the period, Worldwide and in the selected country. |
| Estimated Revenue | Total for the period, Worldwide and in the selected country. |
| App Size | The app's size. |
Below are the Ratings Trend, App Authority Trend, Estimated Installs Trend and Ratings Distribution charts. Values under 5K are shown as "<5K".
