Connect App Store Connect

Connecting App Store Connect lets ASO Agent sync your metadata, upload screenshots, track keywords (including hidden keywords) and set up automatic answers to reviews using your real App Store data. The connection uses an App Store Connect Team Key — you never share your Apple account password.

Before you start

You need access to Users and Access in App Store Connect with permission to create Team Keys.

Step 1: Create a Team Key in App Store Connect

1. Go to App Store Connect and log in.
2. Go to Users and Access.
3. In the upper header, click Integrations.
4. In the Team Keys section, click the plus button to generate a new key.
5. Name it ASOagent and give it Admin permissions.
6. Note the Issuer ID and the Key ID, and download the Private Key (.p8) file.

Step 2: Connect it in ASO Agent

1. Go to Settings → Connections.
2. On the App Store Connect card, click Integrate (or Add account if you already have one connected).
3. Fill in the form:
   • Connection name – any name that helps you recognise this account.
   • Issuer ID – from App Store Connect.
   • Key ID – from App Store Connect.
4. Click Upload Private Key (.p8) and select the file you downloaded.
5. Click Connect Account.

When you see Connection Successful!, App Store Connect is ready to use.

Update the credentials

1. In Active integrations, click the edit icon on your App Store Connect card.
2. Change the fields you need. To use a new key, click Replace Private Key (.p8); if you don't upload a new file, the stored key stays in use.
3. Click Save Changes.

Security

Your App Store Connect credentials are encrypted and we treat your key material as sensitive data. We never store your Apple account password. You can delete the connection at any time from Settings → Connections, and revoke the key in App Store Connect.
