Sentiment analysis
Find the themes customers mention most in reviews, how often they come up and how they're rated.
Updated September 30, 2026
The Sentiment Analysis tab turns your app's reviews into themes. Use it to spot what users love, what frustrates them, and which topics are growing.
Open an app, click Ratings and Reviews, then select the Sentiment Analysis tab. The data is for the store and country of the app in your workspace.
What you'll see
Current Rating
The same Current Rating card as on the Ratings tab: average rating, total ratings and the star breakdown.
Sentiment Word Cloud
The terms that appear most often across customer reviews. The bigger the word, the more reviews mention it.
What Are People Saying?
A table of the terms customers repeat most:
| Column | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Keyword | The term found in reviews. |
| Growth | How mentions of the term are changing. |
| Reviews | How many reviews mention it. The table is sorted by this column by default. |
| Trend | Daily reviews mentioning the term. |
| Average Rating | The average star rating of reviews that mention it. |
| Sentiment | The 1–5 star breakdown of those reviews. |
Terms with many reviews and a low Average Rating are usually your biggest pain points. Search for them on the Reviews tab to read the full feedback and reply.
If the app doesn't have reviews yet, you'll see "No review keywords yet". Terms appear once the app collects reviews.
