App settings
Add app-wide guidance that tailors every future ASO generation for an app, and manage guidance versions.

App Settings lets you configure a workspace app. Today it holds one setting: app-wide guidance for AI metadata generation.
Open App Settings
Open the app from My Apps and click App Settings in the app's top navigation.
Train your algorithm
Use Train your algorithm to add rules and guidance that apply to every language when ASO Agent generates metadata for this app – for example preferred terminology, tone of voice, words to avoid, or brand rules.
- Type your guidance in Guidance for this app.
- Click Save guidance (or Save new guidance version if guidance already exists).
Each save creates and activates a new version. Click Reset to discard unsaved changes.
Manage guidance versions
Under Guidance version history you'll see every saved version. The version in use is marked Active.
- Restore version – make an older version active again, without creating a new one.
- Disable feedback – stop using the guidance.
App-wide guidance applies to all languages. For language-specific rules, use Train your algorithm in the sidebar of a language's ASO History. You can also rate individual generations in their Feedback tab. See Review, edit and approve generated metadata.
