Sources and citations

AI assistants build their answers from web pages. The Sources tab lists every external source cited across your tracked answers, ranked by how frequently models reference it. These are the pages that shape what AI says about you, and the places where getting mentioned can raise your visibility.

Open Sources

1. Open your project and select the Sources tab (or click View all under Top Sources on the dashboard).
2. Use Sources for to switch the scope:
   • All answers: every source cited across your tracked answers.
   • Your project: only sources cited in answers that mention your project.

Sources table

Column	What it shows
Source / URL	The cited website and page.
Usage	How often AI models cited this source, with a trend indicator.
Favorability	The average favorability of mentions tied to this source (shown when the scope is your project).
Website Classification	How the cited website is categorised.
Link Classification	How the specific cited page is categorised.

Sources by Model

The Sources by Model table breaks each source down by AI model, showing how often each model references it (and the average favorability of those mentions when scoped to your project). Different assistants often rely on very different sources.

How to use sources

• Find gaps: sources cited often in your category but not mentioning you are prime outreach or content targets.
• Protect your strengths: sources with high favorability for your project are worth keeping up to date.
• Follow up: the Recommendations tab turns these source gaps into concrete actions.
