Quickstart: your first steps

This guide takes you from a new account to your first app being tracked. It assumes you've already created your account and answered the onboarding questions.

Step 1: Add your first app (ASO Automation)

1. Open the ASO Automation module and go to Home.
2. Click Add new app at the top of the page (or Add app in the sidebar).
3. On Choose Your App:
   • Under Select your device, choose the App Store or Google Play.
   • Under Select your country, choose the store country to search in.
   • Search for your app by name and select it.
4. Click Next.
5. On Select Competitors, search for and add the competitor apps you want to compare against. The number of competitors depends on your plan.
6. Review everything on Preview and click Done.

Your app now appears on Home. Click it to open Store Preview, Keyword Research, ASO Generation and the other tools.

Step 2: Connect your store account

ASO Agent works with public store data, but connecting your developer account lets it use your live data instead of estimates — for example to sync metadata, upload screenshots and see hidden keywords.

1. Click Connect & Integrate on Home, or go to Settings → Connections.
2. Choose App Store Connect or Google Play Console and follow the steps.

Step 3: Choose a plan

Each module has its own plans. Go to Settings → Subscription to see what's included, start a free trial where one is offered, or subscribe. See How plans and billing work.

Step 4: Explore AI Visibility (optional)

Switch to the AI Visibility module, click Add Project, and choose Website or Mobile App to start tracking how AI assistants mention you.

Step 5: Personalise your settings

In Settings → Profile you can choose your Default module (the module that opens when you sign in), switch between the light and dark theme, and set up automatic translations. See Manage your account settings.
